Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp

Rosamund has more than 25 years’ experience in Clinical Negligence claims and is much sought after by colleagues and clients for her wise and considered advice. She has a wealth of experience in all types of Clinical Negligence claims and a track record of securing six, seven and eight figure settlements for her clients.

Rosamund specialises in the more complex and technically challenging cases including Cerebral Palsy, claims involving children, still birth and neonatal deaths, spinal injury claims, and failures in care of the elderly. She also deals with fatal accident claims and takes a particular interest in representing families at inquests.

As an expert in her field, she has successfully achieved significant settlements for claimants in respect of cases that other solicitors have turned down. In such cases, Rosamund has called upon her medical and legal knowledge to assess the case, considering not simply the medical records but the client input and any other underlying factors. In one such recent case, she achieved an eight-figure settlement for the client.

Rosamund has been the Vice Chairman of the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers and a member of the Law Society advisory committee on the Catastrophic Injury accreditation panel criteria to establish standards of specialism in these areas. She is also a Director of the Birth Trauma Association, a charity that supports women affected by traumatic births, and campaigns for better maternity care and outcomes.

Rosamund sits as a Coroner for Hampshire and Cambridgeshire and has a wealth of experience in relation to inquests.
