Sam gained extensive experience in high value brain injury litigation for both children and adults, working alongside some of the leading barristers and Queen’s Counsel in the field. He has a thorough grounding in all aspects of personal injury law, practice and procedure, at first instance and appellate level. In 2015, Sam moved to a leading Court of Protection firm. His work there provided him with extensive experience in drafting expert evidence on deputyship costs in litigated personal injury and clinical negligence claims, very often in cases with pleaded values exceeding £30m. As part of his role at Price Slater Gawne, Sam is dedicated to ensuring the provision of high-quality expert evidence on the costs of deputyship. He understands the considerable importance of reports that are thorough, rigorous, well-reasoned and – above all – tailored to the unique individual needs and circumstances of each Claimant.
