Solicitor, Clinical Negligence

Sam Taylor

Sam joined the Price Slater Gawne team in July 2025 as a Solicitor in our Clinical Negligence department. Sam’s role involves providing critical support to clients throughout their case journey, primarily through investigative work and reviewing medical records, as well as instructing experts and keeping clients up to date through regular communication and updates.

Prior to joining Price Slater Gawne, Sam worked for a prominent Personal Injury firm where he specialised in employers’ liability and public liability matters, including assisting with the Nox Emissions Group Litigation Order (colloquially known as the ‘Dieselgate’ scandal).

Sam completed his LPC at the University of Law in 2019 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from Bangor University. During his studies, Sam completed an undergraduate dissertation on the topic of the reform of the M’Naghten rules regarding the insanity defence in Criminal Law. He also possesses professional experience in Criminal Law, having held the position of accredited police station representative as part of a previous role.

Outside of work, Sam has been involved in a number of charitable efforts, including climbing Ben Nevis and Mt Snowdon in aid of terminal illness support organisation Marie Curie – a charity close to Sam’s heart where his mother had previously worked for 14 years as a palliative care nurse.
